Labels
Badge labels come in a wide array of shapes, sizes and print formats. It's important to consider a number of points when choosing labels.
Our recommended label size is 100 by 50mm. This generally allows for 3 or 4 lines of text and a QR code.
Firstly the type of printer you are using will dictate the type of label required, for example we generally use Direct Thermal ZEBRA printers which require Direct Thermal labels. Ensure that the labels you use are correct for your device
Sizing your labels is also dictated by your device however you will also want to take into account the details your would like on the label and the size of the badge the labels will be appended to.
It's important to note that Badgy needs to know the dimensions of the labels it is printing to. The label size in use can be updated via settings. You can also print a test label here in order to ensure everything looks as you would expect.
